Hospice services are available for patients of any race, religion, age, or illness. Patients eligible for hospice have a life expectancy of 6 months or less.
An individual must be certified as terminally ill to be eligible for hospice care. We accept private, Medicare, and state-funded insurance coverage for hospice care. No one will be denied hospice care or billed out of pocket by Pillars Hospice Care.
Many believe that hospice is only used when all resources have been exhausted, and there is no hope left. This couldn't be further from the truth. It is not used as a last resort but rather as a way for patients to spend quality time with their loved ones before they pass. It is meant to be a time for reflection and meaning.
Hospice care and services are delivered to the patient in their home, a family member's home, an assisted living center, a group home, or wherever the patient lives.
We are excited to share that we are now transitioning to Good Hands Hospice! Our team remains committed to providing compassionate and quality care during this transition.
